Yes! My guest house is 300 feet away from my main house. You simply have to put the wifi in the next room. My modem is in the basement and the extenders in the main bedrrom next to it. Works perfectly!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this product will work for that. I was trying to get a better signal in my hobby room, which is a seperate building from my house. It's not quite 40 feet away from the router, but it does have at least 3 walls to go through.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I placed mine almost 40 feet away and 4 rooms away from my router inside the house and it works great. If it is a clear path to your garage without any additional walls or thick trees in the way it should work fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should be an improvement over what you have. My issue was, the router is about 40 away, downstairs from my devices, although in the same building. There are 3 rooms and a staircase in the way. I was getting about 15% signal strength, at best. Now, I have in the 70% range. Just find as clear a path as you can, and, I think, it will certainly improve what you get.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I could not get it to increase the signal to the upstairs in my home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as this is placed within a stronger wifi signal you should reach the out building 40ft away. It's also going to depend on what you want to do with the service in the out building. You probably won't have enough to stream HD videos.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Howdy. It should do, as it covers over 8000 square feet in range. Alternately, if the garage is on the same electrical circuit as the house, you could use a plugin wired network extender such as: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/netgear-powerline-1000-network-extender-white/4760603.p?id=1219815598458&skuId=4760603

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think not but you should always test to make sure. You may need some thing made by Ubiquiti called the Ubiquiti NanoStation loco M5.
