My belief is you won't be able to do it. I have mind in the living room. The router is in the basement. I have full signal on the first floor, which is where the extender is. But on the second floor which is another 10 foot higher an additional 15 ft away. The signal there is now three bars. Without the extender I had 1 bar and sometimes two. So the extender did improve my signal up to approximately 30 feet. If you look at the installation diagram, it shows the extender must be able receive good signal. And it will extend and enhance the signal over area with poor coverage. I don't believe you will fair well without using several extenders to reach your shed.
