“Need to boost my router, where is the best place to put this extender? Exmple-If I need to boost the (weak) signal to my nest cam that is 100 ft away from the router, do I put the extender near the camera, or halfway there (where the signal is stronger)?”

I would put it halfway, but it had indicators to tell to to move it closer or further from where you initially put it
