• I am not a technician. Just a simple user. I plugged it in and it picked up every network in a two block area so I don't think the router has anything to do with it. It was idiot proof to install. I would highly recommend this product.

• It should work. This is the type router I have. Just have to read and follow the connection instructions carefully to get both bands working. May take a couple of tries to get it fully functional on a secure router.
