I have 5 acres, it covers more than an acre each way, I would say Yes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know about 250 feet, but I do know it works well for 125-150. I live in a cold climate or I would check it for your distance. The 150 range is a strong (5) signal. Hope this helps. It has to go thru several walls for my outside use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can say that I have had the Linksys 600 extender, belkin 600 and just upgraded to this for the AC. I am amazed at the range of this extender. If any of them have a chance this is the one. Seems to have great range. 250 feet might be pushing it though. Maybe 2.4mhz will make that but the 5.0mhz probably won't.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That is almost the identical situation that I had but only about 160 feet between the two buildings and it worked great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say yes if there are no line-of-sight issues. The same product was able to brun through multiple brick interior walls in an 1800's era house.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. At 250ft you may be pushing it, the 2g wireless will probably reach. I run my chrome cast with 2g
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not entirely sure, but I don't think so. I have one and it has extended the range down to the other end of my house, and about 25 feet outside the house (log cabin). My garage is separate from house and about 50 ft away...and I get no wifi there even though it is on same side as extender. I am not sure how much of that is effected by the fact that I have the lowest speed internet, since it's a second home. I do wonder if it would have farther range with a faster/stronger internet connection. Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes it is, you only need for 3mbit/s to stream a video by netflix, as exemple
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know if ti'll have the bandwidth to go that distance and punch thru two xterior walls.... But I have about the same setup, and I am able to see the signal up front.... What my setup is is one of these in one house and a netgear ac router in the other and they are connected via a buried cat-6 cable between the houses
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Best thing to do would be get a wireless router that you can adjust the power on.. this is a basic fixed power extender.
