• I have not tried voip on my extender, but the extender exposes the original router signal it receives to both its own broadcasted wireless signal and to its gigabit ethernet ports. The extender has some fairly decent hardware and features (four core processor and beam forming) so as long as it has a clean signal from the original router, voip should work.
