Only if you have a weak router. If your on a internet plan/service that doesn't have at decent (19-25 or more)Mbs of data rate then it's probably your service. My wifi router without the signal booster only reached my living room an kitchen @ 21 Mbs with it reaches my garage an rooms @ 27Mbs. I have the "cheaper" internet At&t provids to my area. Run a speed test on Google on your computer or phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using 2 of these devices in separate rooms. 1 is in the main great room with a 2nd gen Roku and DirectX satellite receiver. The other is in a bedroom with a PlayStation connected. All devices are working nicely with no issues. I should however note that the primary modem/router is a Motorola MG7550 that was not supplied by the internet provider.
