No you have to have a Wireless Router. All this does is extend the signal coverage. You need a Cable Modem with built in wireless best buy should have those as well
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you have to have a modem for your internet to work, this is just a WiFi extender, meaning if your signal is low in a room in your house, this will help make it stronger.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. This extender needs a wireless router that connects to the internet. The extender cannot connect directly to the internet. You would not want it to since it does not have the network address translation (NAT) that you need to safely connect to the internet. Nor does it have its own dhcp, which is what a router uses to assign unique network addresses to multiple network devices in your home or office.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. This does not replace your main router. If you want to replace your router look up in a search engine (google, bing, etc.) for a router replacement for Comcast and pick the one that's right for you, buy it, plug it in, set it up and return your Comcast modem to them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need a doc 3.0 router

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My understanding is NO, it will not take the place of your provider's router. It is a booster of WiFi and not a real router.
