• I would expect so, yes. I've used this with Arris modems and had no problems. Not the CM820 specifically, but there's no reason why it wouldn't work - those modems are simply passthrough devices that do no routing. You'd have to change settings on a DSL modem to turn it into a bridge, but cable modems simply pass Internet traffic through.

• This router will work with your cable modem, no special configuration required. Unless you have some special needs, it will just plug and play.
