I had a similar issue and in my case, it was not the router but the MODEM bandwidth that caused the slow throughput and dropping connections. Do a speed test to get an idea of your Mbps. The router may help some but you may just have too many connections requiring more bandwidth than your MODEM can provide.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Difficult to tell but if your wifi is kicking you out and is old, then get this. It can provide up to 20-40 device on a wireless network. Probably more.. given if your phone co has you on a 100Mbit Download 15Mbps upload plan.

I don't know how you camera' are hooked up but if it direct with a land like a desktop set up then you are good you just set the router up and it does that on the first installment and change your wifi name if you like. But straight out the box hooked up to the line it's already on. Now if you using your camera's with wifi then you have to relate to your manual on your camera set up. But then that's it. Once you connected through wifi are the land line desktop wire you good. Hope this helps because I am impressed with this router.
