• You will still need to go thru a provider to obtain internet. This just allows the internet to be transmitted and picked up by your devices.

• It does provide wireless internet; however you still need a provider. A lot of modems don't have a wireless option and or only one port for LAN. This router can provide wireless as well as more ports for wired options.
