“Can I change the IP address? Spectrum just provided me new modem and router and now I can’t connect to my work server. My IT guy told me I need to change IP. Both office and home are Spectrum. I had no problem working from home until I got new equipment.”

Yes you can change the IP but you have to access it first. If you want to put it behind your ISP equipment. Connect a cable to sepctrum router, and the other end to netgear WAN. that will give it an IP inside the sepctrum router subnet. If you want it to run the show and replace the sepctrum equipment, they might have to put their gear in bridge mode.
