“Can I shut the wifi off on this router when not in use and still get access to the internet with my home computer that is connected with wires to the modem? Thank you for your assistance, I am not a techie.”

• Most routers will allow you to toggle on and off, both the 2.4 and 5 MHz bands individually and also the guest network.
