• Routers do not interface with DOCSIS but they will be able to network with a DOCSIS modem. Modems are responsible for receiving the signals from the cable line which is needed in order to get internet from a cable internet provider such as Xfinity. Modems are the ones that use DOCSIS. Routers on the other hand, are responsible for spreading internet access across multiple devices. For example, through wireless signals. In order to connect multiple computers to the internet in a home or office you will need both a modem and a router. I hope this helps!

• You mean you have a DOCSIS 3.0 Modem and you are wondering if it is compatible with that? If that is your question, then the answer is yes, since the router is hard-wired into the modem there should be no issue. If you are asking if it is a DOCSIS 3.0 Modem/router, then the answer is no, since this is not a combination modem/router.

• This router works inconjuction with a DOCSIS 3.0 modem. The LAN output of the modem would plug into the WAN input of this router. I am using mine with the ARRIS modem (DOCSIS 3.0) from charter and it works great.

• This router is not a cable modem, however it can connect to a DOCSIS 3.0 via and Ethernet cable.

• Yes it is but you would still need your own docsis3 modem(or rent from cable company) as this is just a router

• yes it is DOCSIS 3.0 compatible. I am on comcast ISP and comcast requires all their customers with high bandwidhth to be on DOCSIS 3.0
