“Hello, I am working with a school, in one of the rooms has terrible wifi, behind several walls. The room does have ethernet port. Can I plug this router into the ethernet, and have it act like a repeater, using the same wifi credentials network name ?”

I don’t know how your school’s network is configured, but it can be used in Access Point mode from an ethernet connection to connect to a network (which is way better than a repeater). You would probably want to create a new WiFi network name though since I assume it would not be part of the school’s centrally managed network.
