• A router helps to distribute signal coming from your router. You woll still need internet access to receive movies from services like Netflix and Amazon Prime.

• Yes you can use this router for tv. Wifi is provided by this product- that is what routers do. Movie services have subscriptions so you usually will have to pay. There are some on demand movies on Comcast or Spectrum that are free but premium movies usually aren't.

• Yes, you can use it for Tv either wired or wireless and yes you will need to pay for Wi-Fi for your home and if you want to watch movies you can subscribe to HBO, Cinemax, and the others. Some Tv's already have the apps built in. You do not need to pay for Wi-Fi to watch movies, only cable. This is a very nice router by the way.
