• I can confirm yes it does work with fiber. That is the set up my in-laws currently have and it’s working just fine without issue

• I don't think it cares how it gets the signal. It could be fiber, coax, or twisted pair phone line. Mine is getting its signal from the street on coax but there is fiber in the street if I choose to change providers.
