• That's not really a question. Can you edit it to actually ask something? I can't even begin to think what you might be asking referencing Alexa or "vs 2". No modem, well, if you mean can it work without a cable/DSL modem, then yeah, you just plug your incoming Ethernet cable into the WAN port and configure it for DHCP or a static address; you'll get that information from your internet provider. You refer to fiber network, doesn't matter what the medium is, as long as it's Ethernet into the WAN port, it'll work.
