• That is a great question. Given your environment, there is a good chance that there will be distance limits on the wireless signal, but every situation can vary. Unfortunately, the only way to find out is to install the router and test the results.

• It depends upon the size of your house and the purpose of purchase. If it's strictly for use in one to two adjacent rooms, probably be fine. You may need to use the 2.4ghz vs. the 5.0 if using outside of the room.
