• Yes! This unit extends the range of your wifi signal. The previous answer is incorrect as they are speaking to the data speed, which this unit does not effect. So better range to connect to wifi, not better speed.

• I am in a separate house roughly 40 feet from the main modem and it works great. No buffering.
