• You need to look for a cable modem. The Netgear DM111PSP is a DSL modem, which won't work for you.

• Cindy, the Netgear ADSL2+ modem is for DSL, and it will not work with cable. You must use a cable modem for this. Top of the line cable modems will support docsis (it's the standard now) and generally will allow bonding of multiple channels for more speed. If you don't know what all this means, better check out websites that can furnish advice to you. Good luck.
