No, the ADSL2+ standard can only support speeds up to 24Mbps, I might suggest a modem from your ISP, then set it in bridge mode, and have a good router set up as DHCP.

I assume that 50/5mbps means that one will get a maximum of 50 mbps download and 5 mbps upload. Some modems are 'capped' at telco maximums, others are not. I recommend checking with Netgear technical support before buying.
