• No, it is not. This is a DSL modem. You need to find a cable modem instead.

• The bottom side of this modem package says "Will not work with Time Warner (& many other cable co like Comcast, Charter etc)". If you still have doubt, you should phone Time Warner directly OR phone Netgear at 1-888-NETGEAR. I have AT&T DSL & this modem works fine.
