I am dealing with a similar issue, where my pole barn is almost 400 feet from where my router is. I am considering a WiFi range extender because my pole barn is on a separate power line. But, if your steel barn is on the same electrical line as your house, they have powerline network extenders..... You buy two and plug one into a socket near your router and an ethernet cable goes from your router to the extender. Then, you plug the other extender into a socket in your steel barn and run an ethernet cable from that extender to the base station for the camera (so the camera base station would be in your steel barn). Then, the network signal from your router would run through your electrical wires from your house to the steel barn. But, distance of the electrical wires between your house and steel barn could still make this a useless method as the network signal would probably be very weak over a long electrical wire distance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this camera is completely wire free, you cant hard wire it as its a battery operated wifi cam.
