If it is mounted outside and you are using the magnetic mount, then YES it can be stolen. You will have to place it up high or purchase a different type of mount for it that screws into the camera, then you attached it with screws to a wall or something.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes. It mounts with a magnetic backing so although its really strong, someone can absolutely snatch it down off the magnetic ball attachment. It also has a tripod mount screw connection but the same thing goes the camera can be twisted right off that.
