I'm using this router with Spectrum (Time Warner) 100 Mbps using my own Arris SB6141 modem (DOCSIS 3.0) and it works great. This is in a 1800 sq ft single-story house built in the 70s. I get a good strong connection from every room for 2.4ghz, although the back of the house gets a weak 5ghz but the router is on the outside wall on one side of the house rather than in the middle of things so it's going through several walls.
