A:AnswerMost cable companies use RG6 cabling and this is what attaches to the back of this unit. Xfinity (Comcast), Spectrum & Cox are compatible with this unit. You need to check with Blue Ridge Cable to get their requirements. Built-in DOCIS 3.0 was required by Comcast and this unit has that.

I'm using this router with Spectrum (Time Warner) 100 Mbps using my own Arris SB6141 modem (DOCSIS 3.0) and it works great. This is in a 1800 sq ft single-story house built in the 70s. I get a good strong connection from every room for 2.4ghz, although the back of the house gets a weak 5ghz but the router is on the outside wall on one side of the house rather than in the middle of things so it's going through several walls.
