• The Ethernet port doesn’t have to be used, the router works using WiFi and/or the ethernet port, either one will work

• Is this a troll question? Not sure if you meant port or part. But you can use port on all video game consoles plus if you don't it's also wifi so no you do not have to. As long as your devices are wifi and compatible for wifi. Pretty fast but only up to certain speeds not made to exceed 600 megabits per second.
