I have Xfinity and it works very well... and don't worry about calling them to activate it. Simply log on once it's connected and it can be activated online. So far, so good!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I now get my full download speeds with Comcast. Huge upgrade over the rental equipment given by Comcast. The range is awesome!! I have 3 levels on my house and keep it on the middle level. Have never dropped a signal. I still get it a block away outside my home!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have a 2-story house with basement that is approximately 1200 sq. ft. on each level. We have Comcast service advertised at 75 mbps, but with wired connection, our PC gets about 90 mbps. This modem/router combo was first installed in a corner room on 2nd floor. Wi-Fi coverage was spotty on opposite end of the house on first floor and not very strong in our basement. After moving the unit to a more central location on our first floor, Wi-Fi coverage was much improved throughout most of the house. We have a smart TV in the basement and Wi-Fi still wasn't strong enough to stream video consistently. I already owned 2 powerline units. By connecting one to the router and the other to our smart TV in the basement, the TV streams video with no problem (These use ethernet cables between the router and unit and between the unit and TV or PC.) We previously had a Netgear "N" router and this one definitely does a better job. In some areas of our house (not including basement), we are getting upwards of 90 mbps via Wi-Fi! Other area are more like 30-50 mbps, which is still pretty good. Wi-Fi signal barely registers in our basement, likely due to lots of metal ductwork, wiring, plumbing and other structural interference. For $40 bucks or so, I could pick up powerline units that also broadcast a Wi-Fi signal to see if that would help. Hope this helps answer your question.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Range is pretty good but it depends on its surroundings. The 2.4 ghz canned reaches farther than the 5 ghz but the 5 is twice as fast. I have mine set up in front of house and can get a signal on the low band in the backyard. Works great with Comcast after you call them and let them know so they can link your account to it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Comcast and it has worked perfectly for me. My apartment is multilevel, about 1000 square ft.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.wifi range is good, so far very poor performance with comcast, ordered replacement and experiencing worse performance
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Works good with Comcast :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. At home, this cable modem provides strong WiFi signal throughout the house (minimum 2 bars in most remote part of the house). The signal is even strong enough to cover part of my backyard. Compared to my old modem, I would estimate that the WiFi signal strength is ~50% better.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a house about 2000 sqft. The router is pretty much in the center and I get great signal throughout. It is currently connected through comcast and the speeds couldnt be better.
