Yes, this was plug and play. Easy setup and better response time.

Yes, connect the power and cable cord. Only hard part is connecting Wi-Fi devices to it. Which is pretty simple.

No, but that's largely due to my hearing problem. It is necessary to contact the ISP vi phone, and I am not able to do that. The other detail is that the ISP must be contacted in order to update the firmware. If you are a Comcst customer, good luck is needed, they have a horrible phone "help" process.
