• Yes -- but this will NOT work with the phone feature. Should you add it on in the future, they'll need to bring their own equipment (and only provided by them, so you'll have the monthly fee).

• Yes. This modem / wireless router DOES NOT have a built-in VoIP capability, you would need a separate device for that anyway.

• yes it will....as usual, Comcast will still want to sell you more service, but stand your ground. This unit is as fast as theirs. you need to call them to activate the unit.

• Yes, it most certainly will. It would even work if you didn't use cable TV. It's main purpose, is to utilized your internet service at the highest level possible. The cable TV is second, and the phone is 3rd. But in all seriousness, who has a home phone line in 2015?
