I have Brighthouse and it worked well for me. No issues. It is listed on the Brighthouse website as one of the compatible modems that the customer is allowed to use instead of a Brighthouse modem.

It should work with any modem. It is nothing more than a router (a smart switch), that takes the single internet connection provided by your cable provider and allows it to connect to multiple wifi & RJ45 cable-connected devices at the same time. All it does is keep track of the data packets that it passes along. You should be able to take advantagel of the speed offered by this item for your cable connection, and the wifi end of it works great.
