I looked at ATT.com for you and it appears that U-verse is DSL. If that is the case, this modem will not work: you'll need a DSL modem.

Install was easy, I did have to call them to resend a signal to the new box, but have been up and running without any issues

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is a cable modem router as such it only works on cable internet networks (using HFC). It does not have an Ethernet port for the internet connection, so I doubt that it will work with AT&T U-verse type service.
