A:AnswerNot quite sure I understand your question. Are you trying to extend the wifi signal? If you are, and it is very tricky to do with mixed brand routers, you have to turn off DHCP and DNS on the second device. Let the primary device do that work. Otherwise you will get a connection from the second device but it won't go anywhere.
A:AnswerCindy, I can't answer that question. When you connect everything, it does ask what broadband you have. I can only imagine it does because there was a list of names to choose from initially. I just so happen to have Comcast. I am very pleased with my choice. Sorry, I could not be of more help.
A:AnswerI have Spectrum cable and internet service, so I can't speak specifically for Frontier. However, I can tell you that I had to plug my Spectrum cable (i.e. coaxial cable) directly into the router. Hope that helps!
A:AnswerWe would recommend contacting your service provider support to see if our products are compatible and would work with their service. This is a stand alone router so please confirm if you need a modem.
A:AnswerNo. Not if you are using it to connect to your Cable, Internet Service provider's wi-fi. But if your computer or any other component that you are trying to connect is not wi-fi compatible, or wi-fi capable, then yes you will have to use the ethernet cable, if your component has a ethernet port.
A:AnswerIt would work, but since it's DOCSIS 3.0, it tops out at 300 Mbps, so you would not achieve a 1 gig connection. If you really need 1 gig, you should go for a DOCSIS 3.1 modem.
