- Answer Should work with any router as it’s just a signal repeater. This one is not dual band so you only get the 2.4 network. If your router is dual band you’ll want to get something that repeats both 2.4 and 5.

- Answer If I'm understanding the question correctly, the extender is remotely connected to the router. There's a port where you can plug your computer directly to the extender, if needed.

QuestionI am looking for something to improve my hotspot connection at our cabin. The signal now is about one bar maybe if the stars are aligned (kidding). I tried a Verizon booster but although I got a better signal strengh, could not connect to the internet.
