Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as the wifi range reaches the swingbox you should be fine with any current wireless router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The answer is it depends - if your sling box does not have wireless, you need something called a Ethernet bridge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you mean a SLING box, and yes it will work well with one...we have a HD Slingbox connected on our system. Although I think you may be a bit confused on how they all work...a Slingbox streams video, it does not receive/function like a cable box. If the FL web tv box is capable of streaming you would connect it to a router there (direct connect is best by far) and you would view content ONLINE. You could of course hook the basement TV (wherever it is, providing you have internet svc) to the computer, but with any streaming devices the service will be to the internet. You watch streamed media by going to the device's website (ie Slingbox, etc), connecting to your device, and watching/controlling there. If the FL box is not streaming capable, then you would need a Slingbox or such to stream the FL box content to wherever. The Slingbox website would be the place to start...plenty of info
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on the Sqft but should be great on signal, I have mine connected in the garage and my office is on the other side. The signal is awesome!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sling Box needs to be plugged into router so it can broadcast your output from sling box to wherever you want. on your network on around the internet for you anywhere.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not very familiar with a swing box but I avoid wireless for video. The price of gigabit switches is so low it makes it worth running a CAT5e from the router to the basement. The basement location might make connectivity a problem for wireless. You might try a Cisco 4 port switch that plugs into your house electrical system. It only gets 200mbps but it might work ok.
