• We have Uverse, so this works with it. It uses a USB plug and plugs into any USB port on your computer.

• I can't say. I use mine w/ a NetGear router hooked into the cable box that connects to my new AIO that have built in wifi, I plug the Netgear Wind into a slot in my old cpu that still works perfectly but does not have a built in wifi and I'm off and running. check with your AT&T U-verse of Dish companies to see if this product can work w/ their box.
