“We currently have a Netgear box that is 15 years old. We just bought a new 50" TV and Best Buy tech says we don't have a strong wifi signal. Will we need to buy new cables or are the present cables be OK with the new system?”

Both my brother and I purchased the Netgear EX7000 to help with the signal in our RV park. It has worked very well extending the signal and strength.

Your wifi signal could be weak because of multiple devices using wifi in the house. Try turning wifi off on all devices you aren't using while viewing your tv.
