Thanks for all your input but i never had success streaming so i bought the NETGEAR - Nighthawk AC1900 Dual-Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Range Extender and that did the trick.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hard to say with varying conditions of houses. But this extended the range of my Ac1900 router over double on a single story house. I have this 2 rooms away from the router, and it extends the signal well out into the yard as well making it possible to stream music to the patio.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Definitely I swear by this product
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The trick with a range extender is to locate it close enough to your router that it picks up a clean & strong signal there, but also close enough to your problem room(s) to be able to transmit a strong signal to them, too. The more powerful and faster your router is, the farther away from the router the EX7000 can be placed and still do a superb job of extending the signal at full signal strength. I have a Netgear Nighthawk R6400 V1 AC1750 router, which is known for it's strong signal, paired with a EX7000. That combination is blasting strong signals all through a huge Victorian 2 storey house. We use wifi for streaming TV and for connecting phones, tablets, and computers to the Internet. For non-gamers, this setup works great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this will boost the signal. You can also hardware it and set it up as a secondary access point on the other side of your house and have a secondary wifi network connected through your AC3200. Your secondary access point will have a different name than your primary access point and you will need to log into it separately.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Should work if the extender is placed strategicaly bewteen router and tv
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should.
