• This is a range extender for all intensive purposes of use. Your landline phone is being provided with service through your router which is also a combo internet modem/router. Using the netgear nighthawk range extender is only going to help extend the wifi signal in your home. It will not affect your phone, however do not expect this to replace your current router.
