• It depends on your base Wi-Fi modem/router and how close to the extender the Xbox and iphone are to the extender.

• It will not be any better than the connection you get when your iPhone or Xbox is close to your existing wireless router. It might help when you are far from your existing router and your wireless signal is very weak. You would place this device midway between your router and the weak signal location.
