• This router must be connected to a cable modem to provide Wi-Fi connections to other devices.

• A router "routes" your WiFi signal to your wireless devices. You do not have to connect to a phone jack. You need a WiFi signal from a provider (Xfinity, AT&T.)

• Ours attaches to a jack installed by the internet provider. You will need an internet connection but this is the WiFi that gives alll your electronics access to the internet wirelessly or via Ethernet cable if you desire.

• This doesn’t need to be connected to your phone jack it connects to your internet modem. You don’t need to already have WiFi. This device connected to your modem is how you get WiFi in a space.
