If your current wifi speed is good, rhere is no need to upgrade.The wifi 6 router is compatible with previous wifi standards. If your PC is 4 years old, and you have not updated the wifi adaptor, then it will not be wifi 6. In the adaptor's properties, "AX" indicates wifi 6. Previous standard is indicated by "AC".
