Yes, but you need a modem as well. The Comcast modem works fine but I chose not to pay the monthly charge and bought my own netgear modem.

If Comcast allows you to replace their modem with another modem or router. Then I don't see why it wouldn't work. If they don't, then you would be using it as an access point, or a bridge.
