have internet not cable.can i use your product null

Not this model specifically.. its meant for cable internet ( the input for internet service on the back is a Coax cable).. you'd want to find another labeled modem/router ( not cable modem/router)

I am using it like that, just for the internet and no issues.

As long as the hand off from your ISP is coax cable it should work. Make sure you check with your ISP to insure this will work. This will not work with VoIP. It is DOCIS 3.1 so it will meet the new requirements but again check with your ISP. I have Spectrum Internet and this thing rips!!! I’m finally getting the full bandwidth I’ve been paying for for years.
