If you use the EX80 with your C series modem, then I would presume that's not a great configuration for the EX80. The EX80 should be connected to a AX wifi signal to take advantage of the features that the EX and AX support. Something your C series modem can't offer. That modem is getting to be a bit old and it should be replaced at some point. Hopefully the CAX will be come available soon for you. That and the EX80 would make a good pairing.
