When you plug in your device it must be plugged into a standard, unmodified outlet. Do not plug into a UPS, Powerstrip, or GFI outlet or GFI circuit. I tried all of them and the DST will not communicate. Using standard receptacles the DST works fine. I was hoping to use my UPS with the router but it failed. The system works great as long as you follow the rules. I have to wire up a non GFI outlet in my detached garage for my third DST unit then my outside area will be covered.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.DST works like JUNK do not buy. hard to find any good info on it and either way the DST is useless. Could only get it to connect in about the same room. only extended the main network and not the guest. Just buy any wireless extender/AP would do much better job.
