Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile offer a "wifi calling" option that uses your internet connection to make phone calls with a smart phone. It's an app available from your cellular provider. This should work anywhere that you have an internet connection. There is a "booster" device that can be installed in your home (thus, it is not mobile) to interface your cell phone to your wireless network. This is typically used in weak coverage areas and where "dead spots" exist. If the cell tower signal is weak, your cellular provider may be convinced to provide such a device at no cost. It's cheaper than building more cell towers in remote areas.
