I just bought this Belkin AC Duel Band Wireless router for my new laptop I got for Christmas and, having zero knowledge on new technology, I want to know if I made the best purchase for my money when it comes down to security and keeping hackers away from me. I'm happy with it as far as strength of signal. I'm more concerned with the idea if I made a good enough purchase, and if this router will protect me; I just want reassurance and peace of mind!”

Any Wireless Router that can be viewed beyond the interior of the home can be seen by anyone that is within the range of the signal so the modem that it is hooked as well as the computer to should be protected.
