• Must have internet connection, this will be wifi connection. Works great for me even with multiple devices running at same time.

• You need internet service from an ISP such as Comcast, etc to have internet. This will be your wifi in your home. You connect this device (router) to your modem. There is no setup with this router. All you need to do is plug it into your modem and enter the userid and password to the device that will wirelessly connect to the router to have wifi.

• You need an existing internet service in order to use this product. This router will take that internet connection and distribute it to your home network including broadcasting Wi-fi.
