• Yes. But you stil will need the modem. It only replaces the wireless aspect.

• Yes it can. Just have to put Comcast router in bridge mode.

• Only as a router sharing the connection provided by modem or very often modem/router combo provided by Comcast. So make sure you also purchase a modem as well.
